Innocence in Danger protects children worldwide and helps them find their way back to a carefree life. What began in 1999 on the initiative of UNESCO is today an international movement with its own chapter in Switzerland.
In Switzerland, IID stands by children and their families for years: with prevention, legal support, therapeutic stays in the Alps and scientific research. From the very first step to recovery.
Training for children, parents and professionals so dangers are recognised early.
A team of specialists supports children and families and gives them back their voice.
Stays in the Alps with art, equine and music therapy. Room to rebuild trust.
Scientific studies that make prevention more effective and healing measurable.
Appointed by UNESCO in 1999, Homayra Sellier founded Innocence in Danger and grew it into a worldwide movement. Her work has led to tangible improvements in child protection across several countries.
In 2002 she developed the art and equine therapy now recognised internationally as effective. As an author and jury member at international film festivals, she gives children a voice far beyond Switzerland.
