The Founders: Josie Fahl and Andreas Maximilian Fahl
A father and daughter founded the European International Club. How a feeling on the road became an international circle, and what the two perspectives bring together.

The European International Club has two founders, and they are father and daughter. Andreas Maximilian Fahl brings the experience and the network of a long entrepreneurial career. Josie Fahl, CEO and co-founder, stands for a new generation that rethinks community, style and digital life. Together they built the club they had been looking for themselves.
A feeling on the road
The idea was not born at a desk but while travelling. On journeys through many countries, both kept noticing the same thing: how decisive it is to know the right people in a foreign city. Whoever has someone on the ground experiences a city differently. Doors open, evenings get longer, appointments turn into relationships.
That experience never let them go. Out of it grew the European International Club: from the genuine wish to give others exactly what they had missed for so long. A circle that holds anywhere in the world.
We founded the EIC because we looked for exactly this club ourselves and never found it. And because we know many others feel the same.
Two perspectives
As a father-daughter duo, the two founders combine viewpoints that rarely meet in one company.
- Experience. Andreas Maximilian Fahl has known entrepreneurship for decades, with everything that comes with it: partnerships, decisions, setbacks, and a network that has grown across countries.
- Next gen leadership. Josie Fahl runs the club day to day and owns its digital side. The Members App, the brand, the formats: they are built to work for a generation that sees a network not as a duty but as a way of life.
The combination shapes the club down to the details. The evenings have the class experienced entrepreneurs expect. The platform has the standard a younger generation is used to.

Thinking big
From day one, the founders think of the club internationally. The vision is a club with chapters in the most important cities of Europe and beyond, in the great metropolises of the world. Chapter by chapter, country by country, until the circle is at home across Europe and far beyond.
The first active chapter in Zurich shows what that looks like: personally led, with curated events and a circle that grows without losing quality.
A club that has to please its founders
Perhaps this is the most important sentence about the two: they are not building a club for a target group. They are building the club whose members they want to be themselves. Every decision about venues, formats and members is measured against that.
